Mono Hot Springs

The tour route has been posted (Highway 580 - Kaiser Pass Road). I checked the resort today and for those wanting to stay in a tent cabin- they should call the resort Friday afternoon (there were some available). Phone the resort at 559-325-1710.  

ROL Update/Sept-Oct Meetings

ROL now has 87 registrants. Per Don, we can extend the pre-registration to Monday, August 31.

Warren has chosen the locations for the September 23 and October 28 meetings.

September will be Sugar Pine Point State Park Group Campsite on the shore of Lake Tahoe. Due to the high fee ($111.)only Saturday was booked. We'll question the membership on those interested in Friday night camping.

October will be Patricks Point State Park, Lookout Group Campsite, located on the coast north of Eureka

As of last week the ROL Chair reported 40 signups- will keep the ROL on home page until the 8/15 preregistration cutoff -- August Newsletter is now up -- this Sunday's Second Sunday Breakfast detail is listed (it didn't make the newsletter this month). The August meeting will be at Mono Hot Springs.
