The club meeting for November has been moved to the first weekend in December (12/06/08). The site will be Avilia Hot Springs, 250 Avila Beach Drive, San Luis Obispo, Ca. 93405. The club has reserved 5 camp sites. There will be six people in each camp site and the cost is $5 per person. Admission to the hot springs is half price for campers.
For those seeking a warm bed there are cabins at the hot springs and Pismo Beach is just a few miles down the road.
The group ride will be leaving from Denny's in Gilroy at 9:00am. Please be gassed up and ready to go. I ll be leaving Denny's in Pleasanton (6455 Owens Drive) at 7:30 if anyone wants to ride down together from the east bay.
If the weather is good I am going to ride ATV's on Sunday morning. They run from $48 - $103 at Pismo ATV Rentals for 2 hours. If you haven't ridden an ATV in the sand at Pismo Beach you should give this a try. It is a lot of fun! Interested riders should contact Dave at secretary@bmwnorcal.org.
