The February Group meeting is at Lake Natoma. The is a regulating reservoir for releases from Folsom Lake. Meeting and camping will be at Negro Bar, Group site GNBC.
The Club ride will leave from the Denny's in Antioch at 2006 Somersville Road on Saturday February 27th at 9:00am.
We will ride through the delta and then cut over to Ione. We will meander through the Sierra foothills and work our way up to Lake Natoma . We should arrive by 4:00 with the club meeting to occur at 5:00.
Members should arrive at Denny's with a full tank of gas. Route sheets will be provided and first time riders should check in with Dave Halliwell (925-353-0101) before the ride. There will be a toll collected at the Antioch Bridge from each rider. I believe the toll for this ride will be is $4, the state will be raising fees to $5, so no guarantees on toll prices.
Riders should always put safety first and ride their own ride. We ride a staggered formation on the freeways and go to single file on the back roads.
