The group ride will be leaving from Denny's, 8425 San Ysidro Ave, Gilroy at 9:00am Saturday December 4th. The destination will be Carpenteria State Beach (Site GPLO Santa Cruz Loop). The meeting will take place at 4:00pm.
Route maps will be provided at the starting point. Please check in with the group leader, Dave Halliwell, at the starting location. Always ride safely. The back end of the route is still TBD but we will head down HW25, because it is such a great ride, and take Indian Valley Road to Paso Robles for lunch.
There are no plans for dinner so pack in your own food or make arrangements at the meeting
to sample some of the local fair. Carpenteria is not far from Santa Barbara.
New riders should check in with the Tour Captain, Dave Halliwell, at Denny's. Please arrive with a full tank of gas, and be prepared to ride a safe ride. Always ride to your own skill level and members are reminded they are responsible for there own conformance to California highway motorcycle laws. There will be no camping fees for members. Non-members must pay $5
for camping.
The campsite is only a few blocks (~1/2 mi) from many restaurants right in Carpenteria, so not neccessary to go to Santa Barbara to find dinner if you don't want to bring food.
