Change for January Meeting

Due to snow at the campsite, some minor sprinkles predicted and our wonderful luck over the years with the January meeting weather...We will be changing the location and time of this year's January meeting.

The new location will be at the Alpine Inn,

3915 Alpine Rd
Portola Valley, CA 94028

(650) 854-4004

This rustic food joint is located on Alpine Road a couple miles west of 280. Look for the white clapboard place on the left with the gravel parking lot. Great burgers and fries.

Since this is a change in venue and format, I'm going to suggest that we use this to have some planning fun as well as have a club meeting if we get a quarum.

For planning, I'm bringing a Gazateer and some AAA California and Nevada maps so we can possibly lay out the next few months club campouts so all input is appreciated. We can also have an informal 49er yak if either Z of David shows. We also have an invitation to participate in a European Bike Rally at the Santa Clara fairgrounds in March if we so desire. And we can always just talk about hex head rear drives for a while ;-)

The time is 11:30 am
The place is the Alpine Inn
Sat. the 26th.
2 wheels to try out the new rainsuits
4 wheels to bring a friend and stuff.
No, you can't set up the tents in the parking lot.

April Meeting - MultiClub Campout

April's members meeting (April 26) is planned to be a joint multi-club at Finnon Lake Campground with catered dinner.

Arroyo Seco- January 26 Meeting and Campout

Warren's Tour Plan-
The January general members meeting and campout will be held at Arroyo Seco Group campsite GS1 at 4:00p.m. Saturday 26th.  The campground is located at the end of Arroyo Seco Rd. west of Greenfield. The group campsite is pretty good but you may want to bring food to cook at the campsite due to the lack of any real good eating establishments close to the camping. There are a few Mexican food places in Greenfield if you would prefer dinner out after the meeting.

The riding tour will leave from Alice’s Restaurant located at the intersection of  Hwy 84 and Hwy 35 at 9:00 a.m. sharp on Saturday. Show up early to grab some hot coffee or breakfast before we head out.  I will distribute written directions of the tour route to all of the riders.
